The National Geographic International (USA) published a reportage about the glaciers in Switzerland. The article is illustrated with one of my photos of the Aletsch glacier. The Aletsch glacier is the largest in the Alps. It is 23 km long and covers more than 120 square kms in the Canton Valais in Switzerland. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage in 2001. From 18 February until 18 May, the exhibition Discover Embrach from a Colombian Perspective (entdecken Sie Embrach aus kolumbianischen Perspektive) took place at the premises of the municipality of Embrach. Twenty photographs of the Swiss village were shown in order to make the people rediscover and revalue their village. I always say: the beauty is there, just look for it, look for small details. Swiss people had not only the opportunity to be rediscovered, but also be seen from a very Latin viewpoint.
